Hobbs Data Science Lab

The Data Science Lab periodically hires Cornell undergraduate research assistants for data management and labeling tasks. These opportunities are posted to the Psychology internships and positions Google group here (open to Cornell undergraduates).

In the coming semesters, DSL will offer limited research course credit (HD 4010) to Cornell undergraduates. Students should have some experience programming in R or python for this course credit (at the level of HD/Psych 2930 or 2940). Please email Professor Hobbs ([lastname]@cornell.edu) if interested. Preference will be given to students who have taken 2930 or 2940.

Lab work involves studying topics related to politics and health. Most current research uses social media or open-ended survey data.
